About Sector 13: Haunted Woods Guide
Sector 13: Haunted Woods Guide is an independent fan site. It is not affiliated with Game Inside Studio, and it is not an official wiki.
How pages are written
Every page is checked against three kinds of source, in this order of authority:
- The Steam store page — equipment names, release date, system requirements, languages, features.
- The studio's own replies on the official Steam discussion board — mic test steps, voice settings, launch-option fixes, confirmed future content.
- Official screenshots — HUD key hints, detector readings, interaction prompts, read directly from the store page's 25 screenshots.
Only then do player reports enter a page — and when they do, the page says they are player reports. If a claim has no source, the page marks it not yet confirmed instead of guessing. Where players and the studio disagree, both sides appear.
The demo is the only playable build until September 25, 2026. When the full game ships, pages get re-verified against the launch build and the footer's verification date moves with them.
Corrections
If a page is wrong, we would rather fix it than defend it. Demo behavior has already shifted around microphone sensitivity and multiplayer rooms, and the full game will shift it again; anything reproducible gets corrected and the page's verification date is bumped.

What this site is not
- Not an official channel of Game Inside Studio — official announcements live on Steam and the studio's linked social accounts.
- Not a codes site, not a data dump — pages exist only when a real player task needs them.
- Not sponsored. No page here is paid for by anyone.
